3 ways I prioritise my mental health




Prioritising your mental health can be one of the biggest challenges in life. I am a believer, no matter who are, we all have something that affects the way we think and feel.

I have learnt the hard waylay not digging deep enough at times to get myself through the over thinking and feeling anxious about certain situations.

I have worked hard. I feel and know I am in a much better place than I have ever been in my 
life. One thing amongst all the negative thought and feelings is to know I am worthy of being happy and living the life I know I deserve and would like to live. Being appreciative and grateful helps me daily. 

Feeling worthy and realising your value in this world is your priority, not anyone else. It takes tome to build self esteem and realise that you can help yourself in many ways.

: : Move my body

Getting out in the sunshine going for a walk or just sitting in the sunshine is so therapeutic for the heart, body and soul. There is nothing better than being out in nature processing your thoughts and to breathe.


: : Sleep better

Going to bed when you are tired and sleepy, no matter what time of the evening the better. Sometimes I have been known to fall asleep at 8pm to sleep right through until 5:30 / 6 am. I like waking salty to start my day and appreciate the morning starting and hearing the birds chirping. Occasionally enjoying a sleep tea or trying something else, not medicated, (sleep drops). A little hot milk drink, such as milo (my childhood favourite) soothing and nourishing for the mind and soul. 


: : Prioritise time for YOU

Spend time doing what you enjoy most. My favourite and most special times are with those I love. I enjoy cafes and coffee with my nearest and dearest. Binge watch something (I am rewatching SUITS). Dive into another world by reading or listening to a book. Listening to podcasts that resonate for you. Podcasts have made me think! 


There are no hard and fast rules . We are all unique with our own likes with different needs and wants. so get out there and find what you love.

Remember we are all special, unique and deserve to live our best life!!
